Čudo u "Vrtu dobre nade" - Ženka haskija hrani mladunče crnog pantera

Vrste koje u prirodi predstavljaju simbol neprijateljstva u "Vrtu dobre nade" u istom boksu zajedno spavaju, jedu i igraju se. Među štencima haskija spokojno raste mladunče crnog pantera, koga je majka odbacila. Ono ne zna da su mu polubraća najgori prirodni neprijatelji, jer kad zagusti čak i pas i mačka umeju da se slože.
Kad Bleki, kuja haskija, uđe u boks, devet mladunaca starih pet nedelja, jedno preko drugog, hitaju po svoju porciju mleka. I dok Bleki leži na leđima, iz gomile na njoj viri osam belih repića i jedan crni. On pripada malom crnom panteru kome su zaposleni u Vrtu potražili novu porodicu, jer njegova majka još od bombardovanaj ubija svoje mladunce odmah po rođenju.


-Bleki je u Zoološki vrt stigla na molbu Vuka Boka Bojovića, koji je tražio hraniteljku za pantera. Bila je zbunjena i "narogušena", a prema panteru se ponašala kao prema ružnom pačetu - priča Mirjana Makević, vlasnica ove kuje šampionke.





Pošto je prekor bio dovoljan da se postidi, Bleki već mesec dana brižno bdi nad panterčićem i svojim mladuncima. Oni joj grizu šape i jure rep, a ona neznancima jasno stavlja do znanja da ne prilaze njenim bebama."

"Miracle in "The Garden of Good Hope" - Female husky feeds baby black panther

Cats and dogs, usually enemies in the game of survival, here in Garden of Good Hope they sleep, eat and play together. Among husky puppies grows baby black panther, which was rejected by her mother. Baby panther obviously doesn’t care for having dogs for brothers, which only goes to show that cats and dogs can get along together very well. When Blacky, husky-momma enters her box, nine pups only five weeks old rush to get their portion of milk. And while Blacky is on her back, among eight white tails there is one black tail. It belongs to little baby panther. Momma panther suffered great distress during the bombing of 1999. and since then she kills her cubs. Therefore, employees of Belgrade Zoo had to find surrogate mother.


-Blacky arrived to Zoo trough Vuk Bojovic. He was seeking surrogate mother for baby panther. She was at first all snappy and treated baby panther as 'ugly duckling' – says Mirjana Makevic, proud owner of this champion husky mother.





Once she got accustomed to baby panther, Blacky was guarding her and caring for her as if she was her own pup. They nibble on mother's paws, and chase her tail. In turn, mother growls at strangers, protecting her babies. "
